Gym Fund rises!!

Many of you will already be aware that we have a fundraising project at Ambergate to raise money for an Adapted Gym for our pupils.photo 48

This week we have been the lucky recipients of a £4,000 donation from a group of fundraisers in Sleaford.  We are over the moon about this donation and thank all the people involved profusely, for all their hard work.  In particular we would like to thank The Sleaford Mayor's Charity Fund, The India Garden Restaurant in Sleaford and the Sleaford Muslim Community Group.

We have a target for the Gym of £24,000 and this kind donation has moved our current total onto £6,944.09!

Ambergate has a disused building that we would like to refurbish into a small Gym for the children. Our wish list is to fill the Gym with rowers, bikes, exercise balls, punch bag and an interactive cardio wall.

This facility will be a fantastic addition to our already improved outdoor PE facilities and will provide an all weather exercise facility for the pupils.

The gym equipment will be especially adapted so that our less able pupils can gain exercise they would otherwise miss out on.
