On Wednesday the 14th of June Beech Class, Oak Class and Silverstone Class went to Wicksteed Park! The day was called ‘Rotary Kids Out’ and it was organised and funded by the Rotary Club. Two helpers from the Rotary Club, called David and Andrew, helped us get around the park.
First stop was the big rollercoaster! It was a very bumpy ride! Then we went on the ladybird rollercoaster and the umbrellas before stopping for lunch under a shady tree. We had sandwiches, fruit and cake!
After our picnic, we went on the train around the park. We all enjoyed seeing the different attractions, and we saw lots of ducks.
We walked back up to the main part of the park and David and Andrew bought us each an ice cream!
Our day was over, so we headed back to the bus for our journey back to school.
What a fantastic day!
A massive thank you from the GANF staff and pupils to all who made the day possible.
