Sport Relief takes place every two years and is a part of Comic Relief. The British public comes together to get active, raise money and change lives.
The money raised through Sport Relief helps vulnerable people, across the UK and the world, to live happier, healthier and safer lives.
At GANF, on the 23rd March, we held a very active day! Everyone that took part came into school dressed as a sportsperson. There were so many different outfits and it was clear that everyone had gone to a lot of effort. Everyone who chose to come dressed up donated £1 to the cause, and GANF raised over £120 which all goes to the Sport Relief Charity.
Throughout the day across both Sandon and Ambergate there were many sporting activities. At Sandon there was swimming, yoga and sensory circuits and at Ambergate there was a football tournament, slack lining and the climbing tower, to name but a few!
Everyone had a great day, and enjoyed all the activities, alongside raising money for a great cause!
Great work team GANF!!
