Trent Bridge Class Presentation 2019

on .

tedThe pupils from Trent Bridge class presented their work from the current term to their parents and carers on Friday 15th March. They recited a poem called ‘What’s in the box?’ (see below) and all of the children had a toy, that matched a toy from the poem, that they then placed in the box and held up a picture of it at the same time.

The pupils then talked about what they had learnt in science, which was about forces, pushes and pulls. All of the children presented an object which they can either push or pull. We had lots of examples such as ‘a proton pack’, ‘a Spiderman toy’ and ‘a shopping trolley’.

The pupils then all shared their exercise books and discussed what they had learnt. Some parents and carers commented on how they liked the photographs alongside the pupil’s work.

Finally, the children collected a bowl of popcorn and then went and sat with their parents and carers to watch a video of a collection of photos from the pupils from June 2018 to the previous week. The music created a few tears (…. from the staff!).

All the staff in Trent Bridge class would like to say another huge well done to the pupils for consistently breaking barriers and we loved sharing your successes with your parents & carers!

What’s in the box?

What’s in the box with big brass locks?

There’s a one-eyed ted

And a ball that’s red

That’s what’s in the box.
