Trent Bridge braved the cold weather and became wildlife explorers when they visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Park earlier this term. Many of the animals were hiding away in the warm, but pupils and staff managed to coax them out in the open.
The class has been learning about animals and their habitats in Science this term, and the visit brought all of this learning to life!
The children were braver than the adults and were keen to get hands on with the animals during a workshop. They explored some animal bones and feathers, and held a Giant African Land Snail, touched a Millipede and a giant Cockroach!
We would like to say a special thank you to FOSA for their kind donation which allowed the children to take part in the workshop.
