Trent Bridge Class welcomed parents and carers into their classroom. This is a chance for them to see what their children have been learning about in school.
The pupils have been focusing on how to be good friends, and making a friendship tree to show what makes a good friend.
They had been rehearsing for some time but with the half term break needed some fine-tuning before the big day! All the hard work paid off, as the visitors enjoyed watching them perform the song ‘You’ve got a friend in me’ from Toy Story, one of our class favourites.
Pupils also shared their appreciation for one another, telling one of their friends why they are special to them. Parents and carers got to see a glimpse of life in Trent Bridge, when they settled down for a photo slideshow of the fun had whilst learning over the last few months.
The presentation finished with the pupils proudly sharing their books with the guests, to show them the fantastic work being completed in school.
The pupils loved having parents and carers come and visit and cannot wait to welcome them back again next time.
