Wembley Class Presentation
At the beginning of term we started a new scheme where the children from each class would put on a presentation to Parents and Carers to show exactly what they are learning during their school day.
We piloted the scheme in Twickenham Class at Ambergate and it was a great success. Now it’s Wembley’s turn!
Parents and Carers came into school for a morning of meet and greet with GANF staff and then a presentation from their child’s class.
The pupils from Wembley class showed parents all about what they have been learning, so far this term. They impressed with ICT Presentations about the Environment. They put together a presentation about the history of Florence Nightingale. And parents were even lucky enough to watch a play that the children put on as part of their Religious studies.
It was a wonderful morning and the Parents/Carers were thrilled to find out exactly what their child gets up to during their school day.
Parent, Mrs Wilson, said, “I was extremely impressed by the children at the assembly. Their enthusiasm shone through as they seamlessly narrated, sung and presented a lively tapestry of entertainment! Their manners were impeccable, and it was lovely to see the children afterwards initiating social conversation with their invited audience. I think performing in their familiar classroom environment proved the perfect setting to showcase their talents with such wonderful confidence. On a personal level, for Lucas, the challenge of recalling lots of detail was brilliantly exercised by drawing on one of his strengths”.
Look out for your child’s Class Presentation coming soon….
