Pupils swim for charity!
The Rotary Club of Grantham's annual “RotarySwimarathon” is the biggest charity event in town and this month they celebrated its 26th anniversary.
Once again, the Rotary Club of Grantham has hailed it a resounding success. More than £28,200 was pledged by 1,400 swimmers, who swam 33,213 lengths – the equivalent of 515 miles!
We had two GANF teams taking part, one from Ambergate and another team representing Sandon. The pupils swam alone this year, with Teachers and TA’s poolside for support! GANF Teaching Assistant, Anita Asken (pictured below), swam a total of 19 hours across Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Well done to everyone who completed the challenge to help raise funds for The Rotary Club’s local charities and deserving causes in and around Grantham.
